This is a rather late post of outfits I wore to work during the semi-cold weather of June Gloom. But now summer is officially here and the heat has finally made its appearance. Thank god! I've been waiting for the cold to go! Now I can start wearing more dresses. :)
And please spare the quality of these photos. I lack a decent full length mirror at home. So most of these images are taken on my camera phone at work using a mirror or elevator door...hahaha...

In celebration of Katy Perry's newest video Last Friday Night, I had to paint my nails with OPIs Katy Perry Collection. It was my first time using the OPI Black Shatter. I had already owned the China Glaze version of it called the Crackle Collection. But I've heard the OPI ones have a better shatter. And after trying both, I must agree that the OPI Black Shatter is much better than China Glaze's Crackle Glaze Collection in Black Mesh.

Summer Bright Polishes
Even though this June Gloom has been around LA, I'm not going to let the drab weather ruin my mood. Lately I've been addicted to bright nail polishes because they remind of warmer summer days. Enjoy!
I am absolutely in love with both of these colors! One is a very Barbie-esque pink while the other is a bright coral color that really brightens my mood. I used OPI Natural Nail Base Coat and Seche Vite Fast Drying Topcoat to finish with a glossy look. I generally like OPI and Essie nail polishes, but my all time favorites have always been China Glaze for their unique colors and staying power.
**All these products were purchased solely by me and are my honest opinion.** OPI Nail Polishes can be purchased at Pretty and Cute.

Neon Trees Playing in Hollywood
For those that will be out partying in Hollywood this weekend, The Neon Trees will be playing at Spot 5750 (Formerly known as Elixer) this Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 9pm. This large restaurant/bar/pool hall/lounge/nightclub is a large fun venue with a huge dance floor. In fact, I had my birthday here this year and loved how big the dance floor was! You should come check it out and see The Neon Trees at 5750 Hollywood Blvd.
