NYX Makeup Haul

A rather late posting of a makeup haul I had awhile back. I just realized I never posted these goodies...enjoy!

The first picture is a haul of eyeshadow palettes, single eyeshadows, lipsticks, and nail polishes. I totally love the palettes and it's mostly shimmery neutrals that go perfect for everyday looks. The single eyeshadows are also more neutrals I picked up. I absolutely love the eyeshadows, for the price, they're totally worth it. The same goes for the lipsticks. It isn't drying at all and very saturated in color. As for the nail polishes, I loved the colors, but after a few months, the polish started thickening...I don't know if this means I use it like crazy or what...:/

The next image are of the NYX eyeshadow bases and jumbo stick eyeliner pencils. The eyeshadow bases weren't really to my liking...I feel like it wasn't a very good eyeshadow primer...but the eyeliner pencils were amazing! The application was smooth and it came in a great selection of bright and bold hues. Perfect to play around with color for this summer! :D

The last image is of a NYX brush set. I wanted to give these brushes a try and I already own MAC, Sephora, and Sigma brushes. Unfortunately, these babies which were totally on sale at Hautelook weren't up to my standards for makeup brushes. Don't get me wrong, the brush hair was very soft, but my MAJOR problem was the shedding. It's my total pet peeve when brushes shed...I hate how it leaves little hairs on your face....and for the real retail price of around $100, it's not worth it for something that sheds like crazy.

Anyway, that's all I have in my haul and I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! :D
