Halloween Fun!

Hope everyone had an awesome Halloween! I sure had a great one! I was Cinderella this year. Me and some of my friends did a Disney theme where one girl went as Esmeralda and the other one Alice in Wonderland. I absolutely loved my sparkly silver shoes!!! They were my rendition of glass slippers...LOL

Photo-op with the bestie! <3

Shoes from Michael Antonio....super comfy and sparkly!!!

NOTD- Experimenting for Fall

Played around with various nail styles....please excuse the dried cuticles....it's fall/winter ;P

The Half Moon look using a black nail polish color from Castledew and Orly's Glamorous.

This other design was created with my favorite fall nail color China Glaze's Channelesque which is more of a grey-ish deep purple.

Lastly, I'm sporting China Glaze's For Audrey. I absolutely love how this color reminds me of the exact signature blue green seafoam shade of Tiffany & Co.

I decided to experiment the other day with the For Audrey color I've been currently wearing by adding freehand nail art. What do you think?

Trovata 2012 Spring/Summer Collection

Although this is rather out of season, I'm still loving the simple and classically chic styles of the Trovata lookbook. And even though the weather is starting to get a little chilly, these classic pieces can definitely be paired with accessories to make it perfectly fall-worthy. This absolutely cute beachy brand is based in Newport Beach, but can be found in boutiques and other department stores such as Barney's New York.

An Unexpected Trip to the Mall...

Took a random trip recently to one of my favorite malls with my sister....South Coast Plaza. And I found this adorable rustic orange colored pleated shorts along the way. I know it looks like a micro-mini, but they're actually extremely comfortable shorts with an elastic waistband (always perfect for my non-stop food binging ;P). I was heavily debating on purchasing these because I'm not usually trendy person. My style is more casual and girly.

To buy or not to buy?.....Bought! The sister was the one that gave me the extra nudge to get it. Thanks sis! I absolutely <3 them!

After I saw these shorts at H&M I knew that I had to have them! I knew exactly how I wanted to wear it too...keeping it casual by pairing it with a plain white v-neck shirt like the one I wore in this picture, brown wedges, a long antique gold necklace, and other jewelry accessories. Along with my trusty large mustard yellow messenger bag to really keep with the upcoming fall color scheme. I'm 5"3 and usually wear XS, S, and 26. In H&M sizes, I usually fit a 2 or 4. And I have a very unusual body type with extremely long legs and a short torso. I also tend to have more of an apple shape even though I'm petite. So if you're similar to me in size, I'd recommend nabbing the small like I did. Hope you all like these shorts as much as I do...and please don't hesitate to give me your feedback. :)
